What is ADHD?

ADHD in the Classroom

Children and teens with ADHD often have significant difficulty when it comes to the learning and behaving in the classroom. Additional support, known as accommodations, help them overcome their difficulties to achieve academically. Read on for more information.

ADHD Treatment

Treatment of ADHD often occurs in both medical and mental health settings. Medication treatment is currently the most effect treatment for the core symptoms of ADHD, such as inattention and hyperactivity. While ADHD is most commonly discussed in relation to elementary-aged children, there are important considerations for children of all ages. We delve into specific concerns for preschool aged children, elementary aged childhood, and adolescence.
